The Ellesmere Port Silver Band is an established, local charity registered brass band, based in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. The band practices every Thursday evening between 7.15 pm and 9.30 pm at Capenhurst Village Hall in the village of Capenhurst. We also have a junior band who practice at the hall between 6-7 pm, also on Thursday evening. Members of the band comprise local and non-local adults and children whose ages range from 6 - 70 (ish!) Have a peek at the photo gallery! A registered charity, the band performs for various local events throughout the Wirral and Cheshire area and are available for bookings throughout the year.
We currently have vacancies in the Cornet, Bass and Percussion sections of the Band, but players of other Brass Band instruments are also welcome. So, if you are interested in playing a brass instrument or have some experience and would like to 'have a blow', please come down to the hall and join us. Alternatively, you can e-mail us for more information.
